Routine servicing and sensible repairs help keep vehicles reliable, safe and cost-effective to run. We focus on carrying out work carefully, using quality parts, and explaining everything clearly before work begins.
Our aim is not to be the cheapest — it is to do the job properly and safely.
Our servicing approach
Rather than complicated package names, we keep servicing straightforward:
Minor Service – routine oil, filter and safety checks
Major Service – everything in a Minor Service plus deeper inspections and any additional service items recommended by the manufacturer
Most vehicles benefit from a simple pattern:
Minor → Minor → Major
This usually works out as:
- Minor Service every 10,000 miles or 12 months
- Major Service approximately every third visit (or as manufacturer intervals require)
This approach maintains reliability, protects major components and avoids paying for work that is not due.
Why we don’t use “bronze, silver, gold” servicing
Some service centres advertise tiered packages. They can look attractive at first glance, but what is included can vary, and important checks may sometimes be excluded to keep headline prices low.
We prefer to be clear about:
- what is included
- what is recommended
- why something needs doing
That way you know exactly what has been carried out on your vehicle.
What we cover
We carry out:
- routine servicing
- brakes and hydraulics
- suspension and steering
- exhaust and emissions repairs
- cooling system repairs
- clutches and drivetrains
- timing components (where appropriate)
- general mechanical repairs
Where a fault is unclear, we may recommend diagnostics first to avoid unnecessary parts. More information can be found on our
Diagnostics page.
Servicing done properly
A service includes safety checks as well as oil and filters. This helps:
- reduce the risk of breakdowns
- protect major components
- spot developing problems early
- maintain service history
We use quality parts that meet manufacturer specifications.
Estimates and approval
Before work is carried out we:
- inspect the vehicle
- explain our findings
- provide an estimate where possible
- obtain your approval before proceeding
If anything unexpected appears, we will contact you first so you remain in control of the decision.
Important note
Some issues can only be confirmed once parts are removed for inspection. Where this applies, we will explain the situation and agree the next steps before continuing.
Completed servicing or repair work reflects the condition of the vehicle at the time. We do not promise outcomes — our focus is on careful, transparent work so you can make informed decisions.
If your vehicle is due a service, or you are unsure which service is appropriate, please
contact us and we will be happy to advise.
