Vehicle Diagnostics And Repairs in Rugby – Autodiag

Specialist Vehicle Diagnostics, Repairs & Auto Electrical

Clear, logical answers to complex and intermittent faults.

At Autodiag, we specialise in advanced vehicle diagnostics and auto-electrical investigation.
We are often asked to look at vehicles where previous repairs have not resolved the problem or where the cause is unclear.

Our role is simple: work methodically, test carefully, and base recommendations on evidence rather than assumptions.

Who we work with

  • private vehicle owners
  • motor traders
  • warranty companies
  • other garages who refer vehicles for specialist investigation

Our approach is structured and transparent, focusing on identifying the root cause of a problem — not swapping parts in the hope it helps.

After-market warranty repairs

We regularly diagnose vehicles covered by after-market warranty policies. We don’t deal directly with warranty companies, but we provide full diagnostic reports and written estimates so customers can submit claims themselves.

More details about how this works can be found on our
Diagnostics page.

Not just diagnostics — full mechanical repairs too

Although diagnostics is a major part of what we do, Autodiag is also a fully equipped repair workshop.

We carry out:

  • mechanical repairs and servicing
  • driveline, engine and cooling system investigations
  • brake and suspension repairs
  • MOT testing and post-MOT rectification work

We diagnose first — then discuss repair options based on what the testing shows.
This helps avoid unnecessary parts and unexpected costs.

When Autodiag is the right choice

We are a good fit if:

  • a fault is intermittent or difficult to replicate
  • warning lights keep returning after repairs
  • an electrical issue is suspected
  • the battery is draining and the reason isn’t obvious
  • another garage has advised further diagnosis is required
  • the vehicle has ongoing drivability or mechanical concerns

We deal with modern vehicle control systems every day, including multiplexed wiring networks and control modules.

Important information about diagnostic time

The diagnostic time shown on our pricing is a maximum allowance.

In some cases faults are identified more quickly; in others, further testing may be required.
The diagnostic charge remains fixed for the booked session so the process stays fair and consistent.

All diagnostic work includes a clear write-up explaining findings and recommendations.
