Diagnostic Fees
Standard Diagnostics

+ VAT · up to 1 hour
Up to 1 hour. Our most popular service. Includes full system scan, live data analysis, wiring and circuit testing, communications testing and component testing — not just a fault code read. Confirmed findings and written assessment included.
Extended Diagnostics
£180
+ VAT · up to 2 hours
Up to 2 hours. For complex or intermittent faults, multi-system issues, and larger or more involved vehicles such as Range Rovers and heavy commercials. Extended time agreed with you in advance.
Mechanical Investigation
£95
+ VAT · per session
Physical inspection, strip-down work or mechanical testing to confirm the cause of a problem before repair is recommended.

MOT Testing
MOT Fees
Class 1, 2 & 3

Motorcycles & small 3-wheelers
MOT test within the DVSA maximum fee. Includes full written test report.
Class 4 & 7
£50
Cars, light vehicles & vans to 3,500kg
The most common MOT class. Full DVSA inspection with clear explanation of any failures or advisories.
Retest Fee

Where applicable
After repairs are completed following a failure. Subject to DVSA retest guidelines.
Additional Charges
Manufacturer Access

Some modern diagnostic and repair procedures require temporary access to manufacturer systems for programming, coding, software updates, or key and security functions. These are pay-per-use systems — and we only charge when they are genuinely required.

We will always explain this in advance before applying any additional charge. Manufacturer system access is available for JLR, VW/Audi, Peugeot/Citroën, Fiat and others.

This allows us to carry out programming and coding work requiring manufacturer-level access without you paying main-dealer labour rates.
